The 25 Hour Spa Uniroyal Fun Cup lived up to its name. With over 150 VW Beetles on the famous Spa track and over a days worth of racing it was action and fun all the way.
Racing alongside Ted Reddick, Mark Burton and Graham Pattle, Ryan put in strong stints including a memorable night time session which he particularly enjoyed. The team finished 62nd out of the 164 competitiors in a race which could see you up and down 100 places in amongst the crazy pit stops! The team only suffered one slight mechanical problem which was rectified during the night hours and even more thankfully, and surprisingly, the race was dry for all 25 Hours!
"It was great fun again" said Ryan afterwards, "though don't let the fun fool you too much - there was some serious racing going on out there. When I got back into the car it all flooded back what a great little piece of kit it is to race. The 25hours is one of the most unique events on the motorsports calendar and Id definitely like to make room for it in my diary again next year!"
