Top ten in the rain

The rain lashed the latest round of the VdeV UK series held at Brands Hatch. Fresh from a run of podiums, Ryan and Sarah were looking forward to driving the TFL racing prepared Juno at Brands Hatch. As Ryan commented "Brands is a wonderful circuit to drive in a car as good as a Juno."
For qualifying the clouds managed to say away and the team did well until drama at the last moment when an oil leak sprung. With just under and hour and a half until the race it was quick work by the team but Ryan would have to start the race from the pitlane and join the race in last place.
Despite starting last and the wet conditions, Ryan was soon into a comfortable rhythmn and scything through the field to hand over in 6th place. Sarah also put in a dogged drive but with the poor conditions the team had to settle for 9th place. A top ten finish means more points for the duo's Championship hopes.
Ryan's next race sees him jopin Sam Allpass once more in the Juno for the European VdeV series when is visits Lausitz on 23-24 August.
